Punch Art Christmas Crafts: Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer

Christmas Crafts Punch Art: Rudolph mum-bo-jumbo.comThere is only one thing I love more than Christmas and that is making Christmas crafts! I have been letting my creative juices flow and experimenting with some Christmas punch art. For the next couple of weeks, I’ll share with you how to make your very own Christmas crafts using punch art.

I don’t own many punches but I do have a Big Shot. I have a number of framelits including a set of circles and ovals which I used to create my Christmas crafts punch art. The only difference between using the two is that punches tend to be much quicker, however the end result is the same.

You will need:

  • 1 piece of brown card stock
  • A set of oval punches in various sizes OR oval framelits for Big Shot (or similar)
  • Small butterfly punch
  • Googly eye
  • 2 pipe cleaners
  • Small red pom pom
  • Strong craft glue
  • Tape

  • Step 1

Cut out 3 ovals – one large. one medium and one small oval. The sizes are up to you, depending on how big you would like your punch art reindeer to be.

The largest oval will be the body of the reindeer, the middle sized oval is the head and the small oval will be the neck.

  • Step 2

Trim the pipe cleaners and shape to make 4 legs and a set of antlers. Also cut some of the scrap brown card stock and make a tail.

Lay the pieces out on your craft mat to get an idea of where each piece will go.
